Farmer-to-Farmer Communication about Conservation Podcast Mini-Series
Rick Clark is a fifth generation farmer from West Central, Indiana, who has been on a long regenerative journey. He calls his approach to farming regenerative organic with stewardship. This means following the soil health principles, very little tillage, cover crops, no synthetic fertilizers, nearly zero inputs, and certifying all of his acres organic, among other things.
Rick is also a prominent advocate for soil health. He is active on the speaker circuit, sharing his story and insights with farmers across the country at field days and conferences.
In this episode of our podcast mini-series, you’ll learn how Rick shares soil health principles with farmers in his own county and beyond. Not to give too much away, but for him, it comes down to teaching and showing the proof.
Rick’s interview is the first of three interviews with farmers on how they talk about conservation with other farmers.
